So, how should you properly throw your needles away? If you don’t have access to a sharps container, follow these 5 easy steps!

1. Find an empty plastic container that a needle cannot easily poke through
2. When you are done with your
needles, put them in the container
3. When your container is full, put the cap on and duct tape it to where the cap cannot come off
4. Write SHARPS on the container with a marker
5. Throw away with your garbage
